I unfortunately had to go out of town for a funeral 2 weeks ago. I used to work in business management and wore a dress or suit and heels everyday. Not a single one fit and I had to buy a new dress for the service. My sister has gained quite a bit of weight and have me all her smaller stuff that was too small for me before and it's also too big:)

Graceann,

Sorry about the funeral but good news on clothes being too big :-)

The really funny thing to me about sweets is that since I have been detoxed... I don't crave them like I used to. Matter of fact, while in the airport the other day, I smelled Cinnabons at the store and it really made me a little nauseas to think of eating one! What a great feeling that was, because in the past I would love nothing more than a big, gooey cinnamon roll from there! (and I wouldn't want to share!)

I have a test today though. Its the first day of school for my teenager and I always make something special for the afternoon when he comes home. He wants Lemon Pound Cake, like the one they serve at Starbucks. I hope I can pass the test and not taste it!

Hey all you Juners' date=' i have to share this with you.

I work up in a brave mood after purchasing new specs for my ever changing new look. i went cloths shopping in a non- big and tall shop for the first time in 20 years and actually found cloths that fit....shocked the hell out of me.

bought 2 pair of Kaki pants and several polo shits to get me till christmas ....maybe :-)

my cheeks hurt since ive been smiling so much today. i know i still have a long way to go but ill take this victory and savor it for a little while.

im feeling like a bad ass today :-)

I don't crave sweets now either! It's a blessing because my sweet tooth was my biggest downfall!! ----now I just crave everything else :/

I don't have a lot of craving but the ones I do have are always carb based. Whether its really crusty sourdough with butter or birthday cake, carbs are the only thing I crave. However, I have NOT given in to my craving at all. I know if I do I'll be in some serious trouble.

I still struggle with wanting ice cream. I really miss having a meal that looks like a well balanced meal, with all of the food groups represented.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
