I've hit a major stall. Is 900-1000 calories with a fairly balanced pie of Protein, carbs and fat (should probably have more protein than carb but it's not exactly the same). Not exercising every day due to weather. Any suggestions?

I have just noticed the more protein I take in the more weight I loose. So sick of protein.

I'm getting between 80 and 85 grams per day. Is that close to yours?

Felt good today to take my size 4X shirt and hold it up to me. My husband even said out it on for a giggle. It felt so big.

So all my larger clothes went on to the bag off to donations tomorrow :)

I did keep the clothes I wore the day of surgery as a reminder.

Feeling this good and down 50lbs (1/3) I can wait for more!

You know that's a really good question...I'll have to ask. They say its common to find them in the 8-12 week time frame. I threw up a lot though' date=' which made everything inflamed and I'm sure contributed to me getting one. Thanks for the well wishes![/quote']

My surgeon said at any time after surgery, but must common around 4-8 weeks post OP

Are you getting enough calories and Protein? I had the same problem. I ate better and lost almost 2 lbs in one day

Yup doing exactly what my NUT said. 600-800 calories, at least 65g protein and no more than 45 carbs.

So I started a new job last week and they're buying us lunch as a welcome/monthly meeting tomorrow. They're getting 99 which is fine, I think I can find something to eat from them. Nobody knows that I've had surgery. My problem is how do I explain the portion size. Already people are asking if I'm starving myself because I only have a yogurt or Protein Bar for lunch. I really don't want people to know I've had surgery. I already had to turn down an offer of m&ms from the owner. He asked why not so I told them I was on a dr supervised diet and he just stared at me with a strange look on his face. Has anyone else been in this situation and how did you handle it?

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
