I just checked your profile on RNYT any your patient data has you as 0.0 Ft 0.0 Inches Tall..... you must be really really tiny. :-) LOL[/quote']

Bahaha! I keep saying I need to go on and fix that!

I am 5'5" and my starting weight was 264pounds. I am currently at 218.6. I don't think I have shrunk any at this point!

Julee,

great app check it out you can have it on your pc or ipad or smart phone all at the same time and it syncs between all 3. alot of people from RNYT are using it, has a social aspect also. the best thing it your nutrition for you.

the only thing you need to be aware of it does not account for the rny so the caloric goals are skewed.

if you load the app look me up, my user name is WeightWarrior450

have a great day

RJ

Holy dumping, Batman!!! The past 2 days I have just felt terrible! Everything I eat sends me immediately to the bathroom and I "go" but still feel like I could vomit... I'm wondering if I didn't catch a bit of a stomach bug and combine that with a newly sensitive tummy... :/ here's to hoping work goes alright!

I found 2 new Protein items that are really tasty. Both are from GNC. One of them is the Lean Bar- blueberry yogurt. The other is their lean pudding. Both have 15 grams of protein.

Confession time: Prior to RNY, I LOVED ice cream. I ate a bowl every night right before bed. In April, when I began dieting in earnest, I went to a low calorie ice cream bar. That was okay, except it was so small. Since the three weeks leading up to surgery, I have not had even one small bite of any kind of frozen treat - that would be since early June. I have begun to dream about ice cream!! The last few nights, I have had the most vivid dreams about ice cream cones, shakes, or dishes of ice cream. I AM STRONGER THAN THIS!!!! Tonight I am going to dig out my copy of 50 Shades and see if I can get my subconscious to think about something other that ice cream!!!

May I please have a moment to rant?! Today is not a good day at all...I drove over 1000 miles in 24hrs, had a rough start with lack of sleep, a cranky toddler & a busy work day...was weighed this morning weighed 249...doing a double bootcamp because I missed yesterday, my team lost the relay so we had to do 1 min plank & then had to weigh in at bootcamp & they have me at 256...my instructor couldn't understand why I was so upset! I'm so pissed at the results & I'm just not happy...thanks for letting me vent

You know you can change the calorie goals right? I changed mine on MFP to 700 so it would stop harassing me. :)

Go by the scale you use most often. All scales are different. Sorry your day hasn't been good. Hope tomorrow is better!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

I may have to have gall bladder surgery during my weight loss surgery. Not thrilled about it either but do not want 2 recovery times. Just want it over with.

Thanks for your post. I may need to rethink my decision... :(
