Baby Food Pros & Cons

I am one week away from surgery . i have my protien powder,vitamins, jello,sugarfee popcicles, broth...for the full liquid phase.

i am a little concerned about the pureed phase. i have my greek yougurt, hummus. someone suggested possibly adding baby food for this phase. if so any recommendations ?? or are they full of it , looking for input

Baby food is high in sugar and carbs and fat because it's purpose is to fatten babies up. My surgeon highly suggests not going anywhere near it. It also has no Protein so it's pretty much useless for your post op diet

I'm not sure what baby food you are looking at but the food I fed my two kiddos had no added sugar or carbs.. It was just puréed veggies.... You are correct in most of it has no Proteins
