Home from hospital

Had my surgery yesterday. Just got home. In a lot of pain today- yesterday wasn't bad. Just took some pain killers and nausea meds. Hoping I can get some rest now.

So happy I didn't have a drain!

Be sure to take it easy and let others do for you if you have that luxery.

Wow... I was in for 3 days !! I'm glad you are home WITHOUT a drain. They took mine out before I left the hospital. Rest and make sure you take all your pain meds and walk, walk, walk, sip, sip, sip. Feel better :)

Glad to hear you made it ok.... was praying for you! Do rest, sip and walk....and repeat often! It gets better everyday...just keep moving!!

You are on the way to a healthy, fantastic life!!

I wish my doctor would keep us in more than just one night. Honestly I ha surgery at 11am yesterday and was dressed to leave at 9am today! I really don't know that I was ready to come home. I would have liked to stay with the pain pump for sure.

That's your insurance talking...rat bastards.

Not necessarily. My doctor said 95% of his patients go home next day. I'm not sure why he does this. It didn't bother me when he told me before but that was before I knew what this feels like. I've taken some good pain meds and drank most of a Protein shake. About to get some more sleep.

Wow..I'm amazed at the differences among surgeons as always. After two days my surgeon and I discussed a third but I was happy to be in my own bed.

Congrats!!!! Next day is quick. My doc made me stay 5, that was too long I think 3 would b perfect. I love being taken care of and my food well broth coming on a tray. Pain meds at the push of a button...the best part was the hospital bed to help me get up. Lol
