That's awful. No education at all? I had to pay 150 for a class before surgery that went over everything!

No nothing

Is any one else feeling fatigued after what seems like slight exertion. I have had to take a nap everyday. I go to sleep at night at a reasonable hour. I get up at 8 am most mornings. I am 2 weeks post op. I figured by now I would be over taking naps.

I feel the same way I will be 2 weeks post op on Friday.... Somedays a shower kicks my butt! Somedays I can clean and run and do all the normal stuff. Today was a doctor visit and home to nap! Doctor said its normal but they did so some blood work. Hope we wake soon!:)

Well it's my first day back to work. I've been here two hours now and doing pretty well. Kind of tired but overall ok. My coworkers acted like nothing had happened. Didn't ask a single question and they're all well aware of what I was having done. Some people are so rude. One of them keeps talking about her 8 lb weight loss in the last 4 days. I don't acknowledge them when they act like that to me. I went to the Mall of America on Sunday and did really good but we took lots of sitting breaks all day. I'm feeling good. Hope you all are also.

Do you know if pickle juice would be ok

I'm no expert- but I think pickle juice might have too much sodium in it?

Ok now you are getting desperate! Lol I'm not sure but my mind goes a little crazy like that too. I eat apple sauce too. If I get board with it I warm it up and put a splash of cinnamon.

Ummmmm berrrrr. I had a new aide try to give me a straw. But everything else was good to go.

They posted a large sign on my hospital door that said No Caffine, No Sugar, No Straws, & 1 other thing but I can't remember what it was.

Today is exactly two weeks post-op. My highest weight was six months ago at 519 lbs, my day of surgery weight was 464, and my current weight is 428.
