Well today is a GREAT day! The scale finally moved downward for me! Was stuck at 208-210 for weeks. Today was at 205!!!! Only six more pounds until ONDERLAND!! I'm beginning to realize that if I whine about being stuck for long enough, the scale will move! LOL. ;)

No school tomorrow in most of North Carolina! We get a couple of inches of snow and the whole place shuts down. I guess I'll be taking it easy. We haven't had a winter like this in years!

Our area had no school Monday or Tuesday due to extreme cold. It is -13 with a wind chill of -28 right now.

Well here's my update I haven't changed doctors yet but been looking around last night was a horrible night I started feeling sick and started vomiting next thing I know im puking blood and either pass out in the bathroom or fall asleep my husband found me around 4am I didn't go to the hospital because they will just say its Constipation I hate the hospital in my town and lack of doctors who know about gastric bypass

Get yourself to a teaching hospital, or at least get a second opinion. I threw up/ pooped blood, and I had an ulcer. I needed 4 units of blood.

We got here yesterday thank The Lord! Very pretty but yes the altitude is a big rough. We are all having headaches. Some nose bleeds for me and occasionally feeling like I struggle to take a full deep breath. Looking for a home. We have 10 days to get a place cause we are in temp lodging. So far so good. My husband is excited about the Mexican food! We have had any in forever and another snow storm tonight lol

It takes a couple days to a week to adjust to the higher elevation. Take it slow and don't attempt anything too strenuous till you feel better. A friend who used to live join CO told me the absolute best thing about living there is being able to eat dinner outside in the evening with no mosquitoes. Dry climate = less bugs. :-)

It took me two weeks to get used to the altitude...I agree; having no bugs is heavenly. You'll find something permanent, no worries. Boy, you've really had SO much going in. I hope things will now calm down so you can take care of yourself! Thinking of you!

Kris

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
