I've thrown up twice now and I'm over 7 weeks out. I found weeks 4-6 fine

Yeah, me too. My husband is floating around looking worried, saying, " I didn't know THIS could happen" ( even though I told him it could).

So I went back to the gym for the first time today since surgery. It felt so good... I don't know if I can type this out and explain it well but here goes. Before surgery there was this machine that you sit in and it works your thighs you spread out your thighs as much as you can and squeeze them back together. Well... When the trainer first had me do this machine I cried because I was so fat I could hardly fit I this machine nd to do the exercise I ha to actually sit in the chair and hold my stomach out of he way to get my legs to be able to squeeze together..., well the good news I sat my butt right in that machine today and doing the excessive when it hit me all of a sudden my stomach wasn't in the way I didn't have to hold it in with my hands I almost cried!!!!! Lol it was a good time hahaha

So today i am super constipated. Sorry for the subject! Took Miralax for three days with no results. It has been 6 days since I've went.I am nauseated and have crampy pain in low stomach. Has anyone used a laxative, like ducolax or the like? Is it ok to take that?

Dulcolax is ok to take. Its a stool softner. You need to take milk of magnesia. I would call your doctor they get paid big bucks and make sure its safe to take it. Remember they rerouted our intestines.

So since we are talking about stool is it just mine that are like rocks?

I took some bisacodyl.sp? Hope it is ok, but I had it here at home, and it worked pre op so we will see. I had to do something! The intestine rerouting is what scares me. I'm afraid ill get an obstruction. My stool is also very hard. I take vicodin regularly for back issues so that doesn't help any at all!

I had this problem right after surgery. My surgeon told me that you can't overdose on Miralax and he told me to drink it every 6-8 hours until I went. It worked after a few extra doses. Good luck!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
