I'm in Canada so I may have to find it online if I can't get it at Walmart or at some health store. Either way I'm gonna find it lol

Oh I see. Lol! I have also seen a banana cream one made by Pure Protein and that one is less expensive. I am going to try that one and see if it is as good. It has made it easier to get all my protein in, don't have to force myself. Totally worth the price.

I've been freaking out since surgery (April 8th). This pain has been worried about it and have expressed it a couple times with dr's and nurses.. Oh it's gas try Miralax or suppositories after asking if I had bowel movements.. Or nurse who also had surgery weeks earlier said it'll go away eventually.. Guarantee you'll be dancing soon.. I've had Constipation this week too.. I'm worried about a hernia already.. Anyone hear of this so soon? We've got a wknd church group trip and I'm worried about ruining myself worse or the trip for kids. Uggh

Hi There....My surgery was April 22....released to go home that Thursday and was back in the hospital for emergency surgery early Saturday morning. I developed a hernia through one of the larger incision sites. I could not even eat a ice chip or take a tiny sip of Water without having bad abdomen and back pain for hours until it could pass through. What does your pain feel like...is it constant after you eat or drink anything? If you feel like your Drs office is not listening to you or taking you serious....i would go to the ER and have them run test. My hernia was not visable in xray....but showed up in a Cat Scan. Good Luck and hope you get some relief soon. xoxoxo

I'm kinda worried that my doc did the sleeve instead is the bypass. There are times I want to put my stomach to the test. I think I may request my medical records or something

Do you have any heartburn or acid reflux? the sleeve tends to cause acid reflux issues.

Hey, that's the same for me! I had my surgery on the 13th and I am only eating those same things. Week 4 begins on Saturday, but I have a meeting with the nutritionist on Friday to talk about adding the semi solids. I can't wait to have tuna, chicken or something more substantial than shakes. Or just something to chew!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
