Does anyone else have like crazy digestion sounds for hours after you eat? I had tilapia tonight and I feel fine.... But it's been hours and the sounds of my own body are keeping me awake!

I'm on total lockdown because of everything happening in my city. Curled up with the news. A month ago I would have been turning to food in this time of stress. Right now it all feels so surreal.

Day 5 post op and still hurting a lot on the left. Haven't been able to sleep in my own bed yet, hurts too much to climb into bed. I am so tired I feel like I haven't rested enough to heal. It seems like everyone else is doing great, is it just me dealing with this?

I know the feeling. I had to stay an extra day in the hospital. I came home yesterday excited to be I my own bed. Laid down for a half hour and couldn't get out of bed at all. My dad had to come physically pick me up out of bed. I slept upright in a chair last night

I struggled a lot with pain after surgery (12 days on pain meds, not like they helped that much), and still am having trouble sleeping through the night. My docs are attributing it to time on the operating table having reaked havok on my hips. They even put me back on a once-a-night dose of oxy to try and get me to sleep through the night, vs. waking up in agony. It hasn't been working so far. Frustrating!! Still, I have no regrets, just wouldn't mind one bit if my body decided to heal a teensy bit faster. :)

Yes!!! All the time!! And it doesn't hurt or anything. They sound almost like belly growling when I used to be hungry. Weird thing is I know I'm not. Lol. I'm so glad I'm not the only one!!

I hope they find the second subject soon. I hope you're not in Watertown! Kinda scary even on Cape today - they talked about shutting down the Sagamore bridge due to a strange package the police got alerted to. Turned out to be a workers tool box. Everyone is on edge. I can't wait for this all to be over... :/

I'm in Cambridge about two blocks from their home that's being searched. Hope it's all over soon!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
