Transition of Pureed Foods to Regular Foods

I am 3 weeks post-op and ready to start regular foods and need help figuring out what and how to eat. Do I just try things and see how it affects my stomach? What is a typical meal plan for a day?

DON'T try new things when you're out or at work. Try them at home or on a day off, just in case it doesn't sit well. For now, just bring 'safe' foods with you to work. Also, only try one new thing each day, not more. That way if you do find something bothers you, you know exactly which food it is.

Try one maybe two new items a day and not at the same time. I agree with someone above not to try new items when at work or out because you never know if it will make you sick and it is much better to have issues at home.
