How Many Calories am I supposed to have each day

I am averaging about 600 calories a day and I feel it may not be enough calories. What is the average amount of calories should a Gastric Bypass person get in a day?

I am almost up to par with my Protein requirements.

My nutritionist basis it on how far post-op you are.....the first month is 600-800 calories then it goes up to 1000 or 1200.....the first couple weeks I was in the 400-500 range pretty regularly.

Via Protein Only...I'm 2 1/2 weeks post-op.

At about 2-3 weeks I was around 300-400 calories. At 3 months, I'm 600-700 a day.

I am 500-6-- at 8 weeks
