Hello, I'm based in the UK and had my op Feb 8th. Has anyone experienced dry skin? I have now got on my legs, I know probably I have to up my water intake. Just wanted to know other folks experiences and how you dealt with it? I am now slathering my legs in the hope it will create a balance and the dry skin will slow down if not stop,

YOu can take lots of Biotin because you pee out what you don't use.

If your hair thins or falls out it won't really peek until the 3rd month after surgery.

Your skin drying out and hair thinning is not from the RNY surgery its just plan and simply from "any" surgery you have.

Your body will go through a 3 month repair cycle. After a surgery it goes into shock and then immediately begins to repair its self. One of the things that happens during this repair is dry skin, thinning hair, potent pee smell and more. 3 months after your peek you should notice everything returning back to its normal state.

A family friend that knows my plight with dry skin bought me some pure shea butter and it is working a treat for me! I only apply once after showering and I'm good for the whole day!

My vitamin e oil 5000 works fabulous all day no more dry skin :-)
