You never told us how it went with your hubby! I'm curious! <img src='http://www.bariatricpal.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/happy.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='^_^' />

It went well. He had bought me a fishnet body suit a couple months back. I had worn it once and felt do uncomfortable in it that I never wore it again. So I tried it on again on friday and it felt ok. I went to target and bought a little black sundress in a large. I tried it on and it fit!!! Loosely I might add. So I wore that over the fishnet bodysuit. I felt a little rediculous so I put a big jacket on to cover me. But when we got home I took it off and he was surprised ! It was a nice afternoon!

When was the last time you checked your blood pressure ? I know when I was on BP meds. I would crave and I mean really bad crave salty things ( pickles/green olives) I could sit and eat a while contained. It was bad. I think this was happening when my pressure was getting too low. I think? I do not understand it now because I am off all BP meds and my BP runs pretty prefect / low and I have yet to crave salt. I do however REALLY want a chicken salad :( really bad! In time maybe? Lol

I feel great! No pain meds since the hospital, already back at the gym and now on soft foods. I'm just worried about how the soft foods will effect my weight loss.

I'm feeling sorry for myself today! In an effort to get exercise' date=' I decided to walk to my doctor's appointment yesterday (it's about 45 minutes to an hour walk). On the way, I slipped and fell on the ice not once, but twice. I re-injured my left rotator cuff, was in so much pain I couldn't stop crying. I called a cab to get me and take me straight to the ED (missed my doctor appointment), and I have a bruise roughly the shape (and size) of Rhode Island on my left hip.

In good news, I didn't break my hip, and all my digestive tract insides seem to escape unhurt.[/quote']

I hope you are feeling better. I'm sorry but I also fell after surgery and am still in bed. I'm so glad you didn't break your hip. Prayers for a speedy recovery,

Kat

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
