Unjury unflavored & chicken Soup don't appear to have sweeteners but the other flavors do. The brand I use has sucralose so that's no help to you but hopefully others have products to share that will work for you.

Thank you. I tried the unjury... Didn't like the taste if that either...not trying to be picky. It's just that nothing agrees with me anymore

I just tried Muscle Milk after trying tons of others. It is not too bad. I am not sure on the sugar in it but it has been the best for me. Good luck!

I am pre-op, so my tastes may be different. There are several shake mixes at Whole Foods that have the higher Protein in them. I know they don't have some of the artificial sweetners, you may try there.

R there any Protein drinks that don't have artificial sweeteners in them...all of them trigger headaches for me and I'm really searching for a good one

Try Ketogenx high Protein powder. It has stevia in it which is natural. I'm on this for liver reduction diet. I have been through MANY Protein powders and this one is actually very good comparatively. You can buy it online. My doc sells it in their nutrition store. Comes in vanilla or chocolate. I like the chocolate. Mixes with 8oz cold Water.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
