I am right there with you. I am almost 3 months out and I still try to get at least 1 shake in a day.

What shakes do u use. I don't do any because the taste was too sweet and made me vomit

I found shakes that pre op i could drink became un drinkable post op too! I changed to a matrix ( by syntax i believe) and it was SO much better. I dont live in the states but i know if you do, you can order sample packs and try alot of different flavours until you find one good for you without having to buy a huge tub!!

Also using 1% milk with Water also made the shake drinkable

That sounds good! I am newly post op but last night I tried Isopure Dutch chocolate with unsweetened almond breeze almond and coconut milk and it was amazing!

The PureProtein from Costco was what worked for me. 30oz protein...I'm 3-1/2 mos post op now ans couldn't choke one down for anything!!!

Have you tried OH YEAH shakes? They are pre-mixed and really smooth--no grit. banana flavor is awesome!

They sell those at our Sheetz gas station only place I have seen them. I have been wanting to try the banana but they are always out of that flavor when I go there

Where do you get those?

I purchase mine through a specialty Vitamin store in town. I get them by the case. You can also order various places online. The banana and chocolate are both great!

Love OhYeah shakes! All flavors are good. 32 grams of Protein per shake.

That's good protein g in it. I'll look it up. Thanx ladies :-)

Just remember, if your full, you do NOT have to finish it all. We are so used to needing to finish what's on our plates. Do measure but its okay not to finish. It's a new thing to get used to. Good luck.

9g of fat in the oh yeah shakes. Is that too high? (I try to stay under 5g per serving)
