Along these lines...I get stressed out watching people at the grocery store putting all kinds of junk to be bought and then put Diet Coke up there. They r overweight. I want to say let me fix that for you. What are they thinking?

Funny! But I remember ordering at fast food joints.. my giant greasy meal came with a diet coke! . Haha! GROSS!

I thought I was alone on this! Watching others eat to me is terrible!! Now I'm like "are you really going to eat all of that?" Or "That sure is a lot of food on your plate"... Lol its funny how things change!

wow... the same things we were judged for we are now judging others for... sad how our society is. Thank God we a tool to help us overcome the unhealthyness that was once our lives. Here's wishing the same for others.

Judgement? Maybe. Definitely a clear recognition and mirroring of my past behaviors and a desire not to return to that life style. I had to eat every piece of crap that I did to get to where I was that led to the surgery and a new way of life. It is the same way I look at active alcoholism. I can live without booze...I can not live without food. I am committed to a new way of life. Some days I do better than others.

I agree!! I can't believe some if the stuff I are people eat. My husband is included. He's never been overweight actually almost underweight but seeing him eat McDonald or Wendy's is so gross & it smells horrible! I can't believe I used to eat that stuff only 4 months ago....

No judgment here. In my case, I didn't eat out much before WLS. My negative feelings about increased now that I see how bad it really is. I really wish she would do better.

I haven't had surgery yet-going in in June- but I have been doing 1200 calories and exercising since Christmas Eve. I have been extremely mindful and haven't cheated once, but it has been really hard. I totally empathize with those people that just eat toms of foods/c that was me and still could be! It's truly an addiction, all that sugar, white four, fat, high fructose corn Syrup. Even for those who don't struggle with obesity ... That stuff is deadly addictive, the more you have the more you want.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
