It happen to me today. I wasn't in hours of pain but my stomach was killing me. I had a few fried fries & clam strips. I thought I was gonna die. It came out opposite of vomiting.

Oh that sounds painful mami, hope you feel better

food stuck sucks!!! Worst experience ever especially when you can't throw it up :( I've had the pain for a long time but maybe hour or 2.

I ended up calling the surgeon they told me don't eat just drink but as long as I can keep liquids down I should be ok. It still hurts but not as much' date=' I hope it just goes away! It's been a whole day. I think it might be moving though and I was able to get my pills down. Def don't want to pay 100 for a ER copay if I have to wait it out![/quote']

Plus er visits are sooo long and complicated. By the time you are seen, you will feel better and then they want to keep you just to torture you it seems. Plus give you all sorts of testing. I went once post op because I couldnt eat. Worst experience ever! I only had a swollen pouch but I was put through hell. I tild myself that next time I will.wait until I knew for certain that there was a problem. So uncomfortable away from home.
