The gas pains you all talk about where are they located. I belch more then the other way. But have weird pains in my back right in the center between shoulder blades. Sometimes under the blades. Could they be gas pains or something else?

I burped way more than I farted.. I actually wanted to have a big ol fart to clear everything out. Keep walking, it will clear out soon.

Yea not sure if it's gas pains I hope so. It's all my upper back area really. Tomorrow I will attempt a shower and try to do more walking. Of course in my sub conscience I think I am having heart pains. But know I am not. Lisa hope you get to feeling better

I had an exciting day! I finally got to meet one of our own (RNY talk) at the dr's office today during our nutrition class. She messaged me awhile ago and we actually had surgery the same day at the same hospital' date=' too! It felt amazing! We visited afterward and had so much to talk about. It was especially nice to be able to talk to someone openly about this whole journey and what you experience whether it be good or bad. So cool![/quote']

That was me. I was super excited to finally meet my new friend for life. It was awesome to finally meet after talking with her since November. Wished I could have sat and chatted longer but we exchanged numbers and live close so not worried about losing touch! Cheers to a new life long friend<3

Old hippie, that's exactly where my gas pains were, between my shoulder blades and eventually in my left shoulder and neck. Your heart is fine, Dr Roller had you in telemetry overnight to make sure of it.

I thght I was having heart issues too! Lol you'd think they'd figure out some way to get the gas out. I could also here my tummy/ pouch (can't own that word yet) making all kinds of noises. I still get this feeling like I can't swallow/ breathe for a second, but I burp and I'm usually good. Gas x strips saved me!

Jodi I told dr roller when he gets in there to see if he could find the alien in my stomach. He thought that was rather funny. Lol

I know alot of you said you were sleeping in a recliner I tried and can't. I sleep in bed with alot of pillows. And they told me in the hospital I could sleep on my sides which I do. Just not on my stomach which I don't. Sending hubs to store tomorrows more Water. Gas x. SF Jello. SF applesauce. A themometer . What else should I get?

Lotion. Some really moisturizing and neosporin. You are gonna itch as you heal. The neosporin helped the most but now that I'm 4 weeks out I use lotion all over

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
