Looking for people's experience at st. Luke's. I was gonna go to lehigh valley hospital but switched and decided to go with st. Lukes

Why did you change your mind not to have it done at LHV?

Lehigh valley hospital has about a 600 dollar program fee and st. Luke's didn't have a fee. The reason st.lukes doesn't have one Is because they don't bill for your visits with the nut and social worker and stuff. I believe that Lehigh valley doesn't bill either but they still get there money from the program fee. I'm really happy with st. Luke's. another thing about st. Luke's is that doctor el chaar and doctor Claros did there fellowship in bariatric surgery and that's all they do. There rate of complications is very very low and they are very good at what they do

I had mine done at Geisinger in Danville PA. A friend of my moms had hers done at St Lukes and said the care was excellent.

I had gastric bypass at st Luke's Allentown on 12/10/12

Everyone was very caring and tentative to my needs

I just had my surgery on January 22nd and everyone really was great! Loved the care I was given, just couldn't sleep haha

I am thinking of switching from LVH to St Luke´s too. I am wondering what the difference in requirements are.
