Yeah I've been plateaued at 236 For the last 2 weeks now. I usually wake up at 2 or 3 am every night. Its cool because I get up and work on homework.

Im patient with the weight. Im going to get more exercise' date=' Protein, and Multivitamins in. Eventually it will come off. It has to![/quote']

I love the way you think. I need to think like that. This stall has been a mind game for me.

The weight must come off. ;-). I know this will sound odd but I remind myself that if the body would permanently refuse to loss weight there would be no one that is anorexic. Please understand I don't want to be there. I'm just trying to remind myself logically. We are burning way more then we take in.

Oooooommmmm. (Meditation lol).

The first month was easier when I knew the things to eat like cream Soup or yogurt..but now that I can eat regular food I'm struggling a little with what to eat so I know out of fear I'm not eating enough! I wish I had a laid out menu everyday to follow!

I'm not sleeping good either...i fall asleep and within 1/2 hour I wake up...this is every night...

I also have insomnia - sleep a few hours and then wake up - only since surgery - when I wake up I am very thirsty and have to drink Water. So now I keep a full glass of water at my bedside.

Hey' date=' jessouder, we have the same stats pretty much. SD was 11/29. I've been stuck at 215 from 236 for about 1 1/2 to 2 weeks. I'm not too too worried about it. I know I need to add more calories by now. I just renewed my gym membership so I can workout a little more (lightly though because I'm not officially "cleared"). I think that and more cals will kick things back into gear.

Sent from my iPhone using RNYTalk[/quote']

Thanks! Yes I am in the gym only cleared for easy cardio right now ofcourse I try to push the boundaries on working out. Today I did some light lifting. Did you have open?

How much can you eat? I think I'm a freak or in trouble. I'm six weeks out and can eat a half a cup of food probably more but i stop myself and measure. Is this normal?

That's about a normal amount for me..depends on what I eat...some textures fill up faster than others...say I can typically eat 2chix wings and maybe atbs of potatoes at once, or 1egg and 1 1/2 sausage link..scrambled egg I can barely eat the whole thing but fried I have no problem....i don't always measure...i can feel my limit.....

Yes normal. I had 2 maybe 3 meatballs. They weren't very big. But didn't finish the 3rd. Had to make enough for me and my daughter which she surprisingly ate. 1/2 cup is about what I eat to.

I will measure out a cup of Soup to cook it. Buti never come close to ever finishing it. Probably half is what I eat if that. I'm always nervous about stretching my pouch. Had orange juice for the 1st time got really sick. And I've gotten sick of

A couple other things to. If You eat to much it will come up.

Oh thanks!! It depends on what it is too. If it is Soup the consistency of a shake I can do a cup but veggie or chili way less.

I had horrible insomnia before the surgery. I have slept like the dead since. I think I've only taken my trazodone to fall asleep once since Nov. 26.

My pouch has strong aversions to creamy food. I do much better with some texture. My current favorite is tuna salad (made with Greek yogurt and a tiny hint of mayo) with chopped pickles and onions on top of sliced cucumbers. So good. The tuna itself won't stay down but it will with the cucumber.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
