Walked my neighborhood...and realized the walk that 2 months ago took me 35 minutes and exhausted me, now takes 22 minutes and I'm still raring to go! Apparently time to add another loop on our path!

  • Ok so I'm a postal worker and have the day off so started exercise early... Rode stationary bike for 25 min and then swam 15 laps.. Hubby and I are off to walk 2 miles... It's a beautiful day in Oklah

I dance walked at the YMCA indoor track today. Yes u read that right. I danced while walking. Several ppl around and it didn't stop me. Get urself a playlist of high energy songs and wave ur arms' date=' swish ur hips, high step, side slide, anything u can do while walking and keeping the beat. Did I look like a fool, absolutely, but let me tell ya it was a way fun workout! Can't wait to do it again tomorrow! Gonna work on another playlist tonight :-)[/quote']

Thats awesome ahare a few songs

That's awesome... I'm 4 days post surgery. All I can tolerate right now is walking up and down my hallway for 10 minutes every 3-4 hours.

Niki sweetie.... you are only 4 days post op. what you need to do right now is rest and walk/move around when you can and feel like it just to get rid of the darn gas. My surgery was 9+ months ago and I started running like in August so do push it, let your body heal first. How are you feeling?

Hiked 2 hours in the Croatan national forest. Felt great!

Thats awesome ahare a few songs

Have to start every workout with Pink-Fucking Perfect, if you have not heard this song, I suggest you google it immediately. It's something we all must remind ourselves of, daily.

Then I go into California Girls from Katy Perry, Circus from Brittney Spears, Maroon 5 - One more night, Katy Perry - E.T., Brittney Spears - 3, but I throw in songs like Catch my Breath from Kelly Clarkson, Telephone by Lady Gaga, Blown Away from Carrie Underwood, Before he Cheats from Carrie Underwood.

These are just songs that make me want to dance, but any song that makes you want to dance when you hear it, is perfect!

High step march, side slide, low knee bends, exaggerated hip swish, twist (just turn at the hips from side to side), wide hand claps, 2 steps forward 1 step back, and the only way I can describe it is like a salsa hip rotation. These are just some of the ways I "dance" while maintaining a "walk" LOL

No organized exercise today for me, but I left my house at 7:14am and got home at 8pm and I've been moving all day! That had to burn off something!
