I had my surgery in 2011 and doing great with the weight. In the past few months I have had this pain. When I stand up or walk it does not bother me. A few week the pain under my rib cage cut my breath just about off. Has anyone experienced this same pain?

Sounds like gallbladder. 10 wks after my RNY surgery I had severe pain right under my breast and under my rib cage. I called my surgeon and they had me get a ultrasound ASAP. Turns out that I had gall stones and had to have my gallbladder removed... that was not fun. 2 major surgeries in 10 wks not my idea of fun !!! My doctor also had my on a prescription pill that prevented gall stones but I had gall stones prior to RNY.
