Hi, I am new to this site and hoping some of the older banders could help me out with a question.

I am 2 years out - 80 lbs. down. There is a possibility of a slippage or band eroision. I just had a complete ufill and have to have an upper GI on the 19th. Could you tell me how you felt after an unfill. I have a lot of naseau and gas. Any input would be helpful. Thanks.

I'd be contacting your doctor again if you are still getting nausea etc after your unfill. especially if they have been worried about erosion/slippage prior to your unfill- hope all goes well

When I had a complete unfill the major difference was a relief of symptoms. It took months, though, for everything to settle down completely and for me to really feel the loss of restriction.

The loss of symtoms was within 10 min of the unfill. I then felt great and within 3 weeks had gained 7 pounds. So I am working up to restriction again.
