Baby Food

Hello everybody! My sugery date is for 9/12/12. My Nutitionist mentioned puree food and baby food for week 2 post Op. Have anybody ever tried BabyFood?

I did not... Just did mainly soups

I'm surprised, it's usually high im carbs and sugar because it's made to fatten babies up. banana is a favorite

Yes...bananas is the best. Is very bland because I tried the stage one rice and chicken. The bananas are the best so far.

I was not allowed baby food. Too many carbs and sugars. I used my mini food chopper a lot and that's cheaper anyway.

I can only do liquids for my first two weeks. Sticking to high protein shakes and thinned Greek yogurt,

I'm surprised! I was allowed only chicken broth and sf jello for week one. I could include smooth yogurt (no fruit bits) and cottage cheese in week two. That was all, till week 3 anyway!

I am 6 years out. I've lost 190 lbs., most all of it within first 21/2 years. My ideal is 10 lbs less than I am now, but I have kept off the weight and that 10lbs just keeps me on my toes!

Congrats on your success! I am anxious to get back to the gym...
