My surgery is scheduled for 10/29. I am getting nervous at this point. I feel like I have gone through so much to get to this point.. And now the life changing event is around the corner!

You will be fine, you have done all you can... Your head is in the right place and you will be fine I promise I was nervous as hell, had mine on Monday not as straight forward as just a RNY as I had revision from a band and I had a lot of problems with that. But still it's Sunday and I'm doing good. Be strong smile and think of all the awesome clothes you will be buying in 3-4 months time xx my husband has promised me an unlimited shopping budget that's war I think of when I'm down or unsure about stuff. And everyone here keeps your spirits high xxx

Wow' date=' that was a real band mess, I bet you were truly pissed by the end of the crap band. Well I am so proud of you for fighting to have RNY! I'm sure things will look up from here. Congrats!

SD: 10/10/12, Converted from Lapband to RNY, HW (before band) 263, HW (RNY) 230, Preop 219, after surgery 223, current 212[/quote']

Just be patient. It sucks. It will get better. I thought I would be tough last night and walk around the grocery store with my hubby. Was too much for me. Although I fought through takin pain meds until just a few moments ago.

Thank you so much for your support! I am going through so many mixed emotions right now! It really helps to have people to share with that went through or are going through the same thing.

I do believe it is starting to all seem worth the worry and anxiety :0)

Pre assessment - 271 lb

Op day 12th oct - 255 lb

today 243lb

Hey I ate cream of wheat breakfast and for dinner I ate smashed baked beans. Boring I know.

Snacks - sugar free jello, pudding and baby apple sauce

My surgery is day after tomorrow - Oct. 23. I have to be at my surgeon's office tomorrow morning at 8:00 for my pre-op. Not exactly sure what all that will involve. Trying to stay positive and excited, but keep getting little nerve attacks! Sure hope everything goes well!

I'm excited most of all about getting off of all these blood pressure meds - I'm maxed out and still cannot get my BP under control. I'm also so excited to be able to dress in things I really like instead of just whatever I can find that fits.

I'm on sugar free jello, low fat ice-cream, clear soup, 1 pint of milk with 4 tablespoons of skimmed milk powder to bump my calcium intake up, low fat hot choc, low fat yogurt, no bits of fruit in. Also allowed 100 ml of fruit juice, or 100ml of fruit smoothie, no bits :-)

Wishing you the best tmorgan.. Keep us all posted (((((hugs))))))
