Don't be upset. Sometimes it takes awhile to get to the right dept. I had a hissy for for this very thing and come to find out the fax is not processed right away.

Walking is the best! My surgery was Oct 8th came home next day last night felt like a truck hit me. But doing ok so far. Keep up the good work.

No bypass for me just yet my band and the tissue around it turned out to be infected so the took out the band but my stomach has to heal for about 2.5-3months before I can have the gastric bypass surgery

Hi everybody!!! My surgery went good today!!! They did the RNY and repaired my Hiatal Hernia. When I first woke up from surgery I was in a lot of pain but they immediately start giving me more pain medicine and was also hooked up to a pain pump. The pain got tolerable after that. The pain is mainly on my left side. My stomach muscles are so sore. But I can actually say it's all tolerable and not as bad as I thought. The worst part so far was when I first woke up and for about an hour after that. My mouth has been SOOOO dry!!! They let me have some ice chips and I also use a wet wash cloth to help. I haven't gone for a walk yet but I have been sitting on the edge of the bed and standing up a little bit. Rolling in bed was really tough. I hope all my surgery buddies are doing good too!!!!

Sorry for not updating soon! I've been kind of out of it. I'm doing good.. the pain is tolerable. They took me off morphine a few hours ago. I am took my third walk about an hour ago.. about to take another one. They say I might get to go home tomorrow. I even got motivated enough to straighten my hair. I am so ready for my new life! Congrad everyone!
