December Bandsters in February!

Recommended Posts

Guess we're all getting into our routine and people have less questions than right after we had our surgery! :)

Ok....I have a question about Tilapia! I cooked it for dinner the other night (YUMMY btw)....but obviously couldn't finish it all b/c my 2nd fill is working so great! ;-) So...anyone know how long it keeps before you need to throw it out?? I hate to waste good fish, but I have a feeling I'm going to have to cause i just can't eat it all!

Steph, I totally overate last night, too. I've already got an appointment for a checkup/fill tomorrow, I hope they're a bit more aggressive than last time! I totally understand your frustration - I feel it, too! Grrrr..... I was hoping this would be easier!

Well it is march 1st I did not quite meet my feb goal of 20 exercise sessions I made it to 15 I couldnt go some of the time b/c of my car and the weather. It's time to make a March goal!!

Mine is going to be 10lbs off in March! This will put me in ONEderland!

I now think I have a good fill- things are getting stuck mostly b/c I eat too fast so I am working on slowing down. I am also going to count calories for a while so I will KNOW exactly where I am at cal/protein and carb wise.

So what are the March goals!?!

I'm posting this on all the December threads to try to reach everyone.

I think those of us still posting have decided it's easier to just stick with the original December bandsters thread:

http://www.lapbandtalk.com/showthread.php?t=25506

There doesn't seem to be much traffic on the monthly threads and we may be losing people with each new thread.

However, like I said before, if others want to keep the monthly threads going, I'll follow wherever you go. :)

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
