YES!!! I am not getting my fill until the 19th, so I think my goal for the month will still be 10 pounds....i figure if I can lose 5 before my fill and 5 after, I'll be one happy camper!! Should we have someone keeping track of everyones goals and maybe a once a week check in so we can see how we're all doing??

Do we each want to do our own challenge or do we want a collective one that we can all work together towards??

I like the idea of us each setting our own challenge, since we are all different, but keeping accountable for it in this group! I'd be willing to keep tabs on people if you want...just PM me your Goal and then maybe each Monday or Friday we can each report in as to our progress?? Let me know what you think....so if your goal is to exercise 20 days out of the month, you'd report that you exercised X number of days that week or if you're goal is to lose 10 pounds and you lost 2 pounds that week...etc....

Actually, we can all track it ourselves - I just made a second ticker and put it in my signature - that way I have to hold myself accountable!

Help! What do I do. I need a fill but the doctor can't get me in until Feb. 13th. I am so scared I am going to gain weight in the next few weeks. I have been so hungry? Has this ever happened to anyone?

BEX.....I'm in the same boat as you, except I'm not getting my fill until the 19th!!! What I'm doing in the meantime is really just keeping track of my daily calorie intake to make sure I'm not eating like a pig!

Hang in there, try to stay on track and still eat the 'bandster way', and hopefully you (and I) won't gain before we get our fills!!!

Hey friends I want to join the challenge, I think it would be really helpful, but I only have one problem ...I can't get the ticker to work please help.....

Kellie

Oops, didn't know this thread had opened. I was waiting for a link to be posted. Glad I checked!

As for hunger, I've been hungry all day yesterday and today. I don't know what's up. Thank god I go for a fill Feb. 9th. I feel myself slipping into old habits.

I'm going to try and up the exercise this upcoming week to see if that helps.

I also need to find a high-Protein, fast and easy Breakfast food. Any suggestions?

Hey everyone. A challenge sounds good to me. Now that I'm over my cold I think I'll do an exercise challenge. I'm really struggling with that right now!

Kellie---what kind of trouble are you having. Are you using tickerfactory.com? If so, once you have created your ticker, copy and paste the URL code onto your signature page and it should work. If you need any help, let me know.

Maurdan--I too could use some breakfast ideas. That seems to be the hardest to be creative with.

G'day All

I've never had any luck with those tickers :)

I suppose you have to create a new one everyweek, to adjust your weight loss??

I tried to paste one when I first came to the forum, but I was not at all successful :)

I'm heading away for a few days, catch you all on my return :)

Hey gang...one of the breakfasts I've been having is Kashi Go Lean Crunch Cereal.....it is a good source of Protein and Fiber (to keep those pipes clean if ya know what I mean) ;-)

There is also egg beaters w/cheese omlettes....those always keep me full for a long time!

ok I think my challenge will be exercise this month too as I really dont have any restriction so I not really losing too much. I do go for my second fill on Feb 8th! I am hoping I will have some restriction then. So for Feb I would like to exercise 20 days of the 28 days of Feb. I work 12 hour shifts 3 days a week so that can be hard. My job involves alot of walking but alot of sitting sometimes too depends what is going on. I do have a gym at work to work out in but most of the time I am too busy. I love my gym I go to though it has free child care which is such a blessing!

Now onto breakfast ideas -- Protein shakes or bars are always quick but not that tasty. I like yogurt, whole wheat toast (if you can get it down) with peanut butter ( real pb not Jif) I have a great recipe for Quice Here it is--

Get a frozen pie crust- bake it covering the edges for 5-10 min at 350. Beat 10 eggs and 2 T. of mild together. Add a can of mushrooms or fresh. Diced onions, green pepper, tomatoes or what ever you like. I also take brown and serve sausage links or patties and nuke them for a 20 seconds then I press them between paper towels to get rid of some extra fat. Chop them up and put it in the egg mixure. Dump all that in the pie crust and cook at 350-375 for about 35-45 min whenever it is done Last sprinkle with cheese. This is good warmed up so you can make it the night before if you wish. I usually make this for my family and I eat the inner part and leave the crust. It is very filling and high in protein. I think you can also poor this type of mixture in muffin tins and make egg muffins out of it but I have never tried it.

Oatmeal is good and warm this time of year-- I know it is best to get "steel cut oats" b/c it is healthier and doesnt digest as fast so it is a better carb.
