Wow! You're getting banded on Valentine's Day. What a nice gift. I don't know anything about your doctor but I just wanted to say congratulations and good luck. Keep us posted on your progress.

Hi Deborah, welcome to lapbandtalk forum. You will enjoy this site. I don't know your doctor but I'm sure you will do fine. Stock you house with chicken broth, creamy soups (no chicken inside), popsicles, yogurt, those types of foods. You will do great. Good luck.

hi, there is never a dumb question.

but the sleeve surgery is called Laparoscopic vertical sleeve gastrectomy.

What they do is take out part of your stomach you only have a small pouch.I dont have to tighten or do anything go for check ups. There was this lady there that lost 63 pounds is 2 mo.all the other people were round that or more very amazing.
