"oh, You Should Be Able To Eat This !"

Get sick of hearing this? I am.

I know people mean well but geez.

My boss seems to feel he has to eat lunch in my office. Before the "cuttin" we went out every day. He's having more withdrawal pains then I am. Anyhow, now he'll bring in something and, "you should be able to eat this".

"Thankyou Doctor/Nutritionist boss, but I can't"

Finally I just started saying, "Oh, I tried that and it made me sick". Well, we'll see what "I'm able to eat today at lunch"

Sorry, just a rant.

WOW - your boss should be supporting you in the positive way not with food.... Your answer of "oh, I tried that and it made me sick" is a good one. Maybe you should explain that he/she is really not supporting but hindering you?
