How Much Is Too Much?

Recommended Posts

I'm in the full liquid stage, I just ate a little under half a cup of pudding. Is that too much? I can't tell when.I have anything in my stomach. Everyone keeps saying I will know but I really haven't felt full or anything for.that matter. So, I am asking, as a general rule, how much should I be "eating". I'm paranoid that I'm going to screw my second.chance up. I think I'm doing ok then my husband pops in with "isnt that too much?" I don't know and my paranoia is driving me batty.

My nutritionist said 1/4 cup and your done. Which is 2 oz. I have the same problem. Takes a while for me to feel full.

I agree that you should try to eat slower. Was always told that a meal should take 20-30 mins and no more than 1/4 cup. A good way is to do a crossword, word search, play on your phone, etc in between bites. When you start on more solid foods you will definitely feel full. Hang in there!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
