I go in for my pre op class on the 15th and my wife was wondering if that is something she should be there for?? She does almost all the food prep and is getting pretty nervous about what she will need to do to help me.

Yeah, it will make her feel more prepared and more part of the process.

The more you both know the better. I always find that we seemed to absorb different parts of what was said....maybe it is the male/female brains at work!!!

Go into it together, and celebrate your successes together!!!

Yep - I agree with the other posters. She should go with you.

She should definitely go with you. Your spouse will be your closest, greatest supporter. The more she understands about what you are going through, the better she will be able to support and help you through your journey.

she was planning on it, and now she will for sure. I have been really using my Mom for my support because she went through this with her bypass. My wife is really trying to help me out and now we are getting to the stages she can. I will let you all know how it goes on the 6th
