Upstate Ny

Has anyone out there had there surgery by Dr Graber in Syracuse? He did an awesome job and I highly recommend him. St Joes hospital was so nice to me I couldn't of asked for a nicer stay.

Had my surgery with dr Graber in 2009. Lost 143 pounds. He does know his stuff. Listen really well and his nutritionist really knows her stuff. It can be very confusing to balance things after surgery

I tried to get in with Dr Graber-- they were ready to see me, and were going to schedule my initial consult for a few weeks out from my initial call..... Until they found out my insurance provider. Once they realized I was on Family Health Plus BCBS they pushed my initial consult out to Dec 2013.

I am now in with Dr Oceguera at Cooperstown, and she is a great fit for me!

Love Dr. Graber and his whole team! I had my surgery in Utica at St. Luke's though.

Dr. Graber and his team just saved my life. Had blockage went to the emergency room. Saw him he knew right away what was wrong and performed emergency surgery. I will forever sing his praises.

i just filled out the paper work for Dr Graber online, how long is the process? How long will it take for them to call im so nervous! Trying to go to the Utica office!

I'm with Dr. Graber as well, said I'd do either office which ever has a more readily available appt. - I just filled out the paperwork again and am pre op - waiting for orientation. I've gone to 3 orientations with Dr. Graber already, I just never went through with the surgery. I had one surgery date that I had to cancel...

He is a very good doctor, the only problem at all I've faced is he does take medicaid with fidelis and the like - BUT it takes like a year to get the surgery done with medicaid. If you self pay they get you right in but who wants to give $25,000 if insurance can pay for it? Other than that he's a great doctor I would highly recommend him. He's great at listening, and he is very caring as are his whole staff. He came highly recommended from everyone I know who had him do their surgeries as well.
