Don't forget your meds! :-) Things are going great my way. I was having headaches but it was from lack of sleep. I'm a nurse and work crazy hours on top of kids, hubs and everyday life. I was in over drive and couldnt relax. Got some meds to help me relax and sleep and bam no more headaches. I've been very lucky with my outcomes from the surgery. ICP gone. PCOS gone. Fat ass gone!

That's a great weight loss. There are skinny people who have this condition, so sometimes it's not based on being overweight. Would you ever consider the shunt?

Awww good luck. Lumbar punctures are no fun. I ended up hospitalized after both of mine. Lay flat for as long as possible and drink tons of water. And if a headache starts tell them you need IV fluids and IV pain med. it will cure it instantly. Keep me posted.

Never mind I just re read your post. Clearly diuretics aren't the issue. Start with your neurologist and eye doc. They know best regarding this

That's terrible. No one else in my family has it. I wonder I'd you're on too much diuretic and maybe dehydration causing the headaches?

Prior to surgery I had headaches and the other symptoms constantly. I don't need any meds now. I noticed a difference in the first couple months. I'm hoping it's a success for you!

Yes! I'm now 32 and was diagnosed when I was 16. Before that I was misdiagnosed for a few years. I had my surgery in October and am down 97lbs and I have noticed a huge difference. I've only had one headache with the numbness and tingling. And at the time I was sleep deprived due to my work schedule.
