How Long On Pain Meds?

Hi. Surgery was 6 days ago- and I'm still needing pain meds regularly. Is that normal? Also- incisions are getting itchy- normal? Thanks!!

It really depends on your pain tolerance I never used pain meds not even in the hospital

I took it for a day or two after I got home. And yes I was itchy by my incisions too, it's common when you are healing!

Dont feel bad. I was on my pain meds for about a week after I got home. The last few days I just took them before bed. My prescription was for a three day supply and I got it refilled once. I still have almost half a bottle left.
