Advice Please

I am 2 days post op as of today. I came home yesterday. I started protein shakes today and I have not even got one down. I dont feel hungry. I dont want to over drink and get sick. Also my belly feels like its rolling why?? Any advice or suggestions would be great. I am scared of over drinking and streaching my pouch but afraid of not geyting enough protein.

Protein is really hard to get down at first I'm about 15 weeks out and I still have a hard time getting them down or getting in all my protein for the day!! And your inactive stomach is going to growl and roll mine has always and they just explained that it doesn't ever get full and whether your hungry or not it's going to growl! They explained to me at the hospital that getting in protein for the 1st couple of weeks isn't as important as staying hydrated! I wish you lots of luck!!

I finally got one protein shake down. Mine are 28 grams a shake. I know I am suppose to have 60 grams. I just feel extremely full and I am scared of over doing it. It scares me. So idk what to do.

Have u shopped online for other types of shakes made just for us?

I am now 6 days post op and am getting 1 and half down at the most. I am worried. They are 28 grams for one

Wish I could help but I'm going thru the same thing right now :-(

Yeah, I'm having that issue to Beth. I don't like the taste of most of the shakes, and one of them that had lots of Protein gave me some major issues. If you run across something good, let me know. By the way, what Vitamins are you using?
