Pcos

Does anyone else have poly cystic ovarian syndrome? And if so how has your progress been?? I've been dealing with it since I was 15 and coincidentally enough have been gaining about 15 lbs per year since then! Not scheduled for surgery yet, still going thru counseling

I hope to have my PCOS cured as well. I am so tired of dealibg with the symptoms.

I'm four years post surgery and 20 years ( and counting ) with pcos. The good news- the weight can come off, and I've kept it off, no gains. The bad- thought it's a little better the hair issue remains and my cycle is crazy still. I do take a water pill and bc (helps with the hair and the cycle) but the surgery doesn't cure pcos.

How did the hair issue improve?

Thats good to know. Glad to see the weight can come off. Just wish there were a magic cream for hair. Maybe some day

I still have to remove it but the hair grows back slower and it's less course. I did try laser removal, expensive and painful, but about a year later it started showing again. I'm not sure I want to re-do the laser but I'm thinking about it.

I will take slower and less course compared to now.
