Asking doctor to possibly modify surgery, need opinion

I'm what most people would consider a bmi light weight. I'm afraid the doc will give me the same stricture as somebody who has a lot more to lose. I don't want to have to add lots of bad food just to maintain my weight. Any suggestions ? Please don't comment if your going to be ugly!

All because some of us do not have a BMi of 50 doesn't mean we need any less support and understanding of our journey.

You so right...that's why sometimes I prefer no comments...

Thank you Gamergirl and Krystal for your support :)

Hi Halloween Baby,

I just met with my surgeon today and asked him about tummy size. He told me that he makes all tummies the same size. He has a standard. It is not based on how obese you are or the original size of your stomach. The one thing he mentioned is that he is not able to control is that everyone stomach is a different length. That does make a little difference in size, but nothing he can control. Like the other posters mentioned, I am sure your surgeon has his technique and best practice. You will be fine. And good luck to you.
