  1. Well my clothes are looser, but that scale doesn't want to budge!
  2. Protein very little carbs and my bloodwork is good ! Nobody can figure out why I'm not losing weight.
  3. I was a low bmi too I think 33-34 and I had surgery on 10-5 13 so it's been three weeks. I have lost 7 lbs total. I have 50lbs to lose I think I define the "slow loser" ! I will not lie I am constantly tired and I exercise. As of right now I am a little frustrated because it feels like I have gone thru too much to only have lost 7 lbs. I know we are not to compare ourselves but it's not butterflies and sunshine for everybody !
  4. Have only lost 7 lbs since surgery and I walk two miles a day! My body is being very stubborn and I know I following the diet any suggestions ?
  5. I actually saw my doc's nurse and she said for me to walk no weights. I had bloodwork but haven't received the info yet. I agree I shouldn't rush myself ! I definitely need to drink more water too.
  6. Is this normal ? I've lost about 8# since surgery, so I was trying to lose more weight. The weight just isn't pouring off for me.
  7. I am one week out and have tried everything to get rid of it. It keeps me from sleeping and I don't have any more pain med help! Any suggestions
  8. I love the sugar free hot coco and light progressive cream soups.
  9. Day 2 the nausea was terrible and then day 5 has been the worst so far for me. Now I don't have either and tomorrow will make a week out post op. My stomach seems to prefer warm liquids.
  10. Some of these docs only care about their stats and their reputation. If you take away all sugar and carbs away then you won't have any energy.
  11. :rolleyes:My day is tommorow: wish me luck
  12. I think you need to move 'on' out of this site-its for support not criticism!
  13. I'm 39 and my bmi is around 34 and my insurance has approved the surgery for me. What should I expect the first week post-op?
  14. I'm here I'm 34.7 bmi with borderline diabetes, high cholesterol and mild sleep apnea with reflux. I'm having surgery tommorow ! Nervous and I don't realty feel supported since I don't have a lot of weight to lose.
  15. I receiving a lot of criticism from doc and others for getting the surgery. My local support I don't feel like I belong because everybody says they want to look like me 1 year post op ! I also have seen some people with low bmi have to add in extra " to maintain their weight . Need support !
  16. I agree ! Your doing great
  17. I'm what most people would consider a bmi light weight. I'm afraid the doc will give me the same stricture as somebody who has a lot more to lose. I don't want to have to add lots of bad food just to maintain my weight. Any suggestions ? Please don't comment if your going to be ugly!
  18. My surgery is tommorow on Saturday, my local group I feel I can't be myself, so please add me: wrldtrvlr2015@yahoo.com
