Hi sorry its been a while - I was banded on 2/7/07 and currently down 46 lbs, not as far as i wanted to be but im trying - i have to say this is all wihtout exercise also!

Hey, when i fell on this thread, i was really interested in your posts, and was bummed to see you not post for a while, and then, there is was, today! Im so happy for you, you are having great success, I know I was majorly frustrated when I first got surgery, and for a month starved and regretted because I had no restriction...then i got pregnant! Talk about bumps in the road! I stayed the same weight thru the whole pregnancy, and gained about 10 pounds at the end, then 2 weeks after Nadia was born, I was down to the weight I was when I went in for surgery!...10 months later! Haha, now I can laugh because I got my fill, got great restriction, and have been steadily losing. I refused to exercise for a while, but then found it dramatically increased my weight loss, and helps me de-stress and deal with the day. I walk anywhere from a 1/2 hour to 2 hours a day, in my house with the baby in her stroller, its lame but it works for me, an I don't think of it as exercise (otherwise I wouln't do it!) I just think of it as fun for me and her. I would miss it if I din't o it because its not so much for the weight loss, as it helps my huge mood swings and stress from losing weight so quickly and having a new baby. Anyways, great to see your new post, and how is your restriction?

its really good my restriction maybe to good- i cant eat cramp but i dont really thikn of eating like i used too and thats great about your baby and that you have a non-work out partner!! My knew moto is: I dont live to eat, I eat to Live!! this helps me be okay with the small amounts of food i intake- i just remember the protein! GL All

Does 29 count? I'm sad, only 352 days before I turn 30. :car:

I started at 230, now weight 196 and couldn't be happier!

I feel very thankful that I was able to do something about my weight while I am still in my 20's I want to have a family - start trying at least in a year and a half and not to be having the notion that my weight will double after a baby. Which is typical for my family's side of the family. Now I am empowered and adjustable for the rest of my life!

how is everybody?? I am feeling great! Ten weeks post op and down 37lbs and 50 inches!! Very pleased... I go back to school in a couple of weeks. It is my challenge to keep up with these healthy habits of eating right and exercising during the school year. Wish me luck!!

I am so psyched with my progress and it is really starting to show. I feel so much better about myself and I find myself making the effort to do my hair, put on makeup, wearing contacts, and buying new cute clothes.

I am down 2 sizes in shirts and 4 sizes in pants!!! This is so awesome and I am almost out of the plus section!!

Thanks for your words of encouragement.

Hello to all the soon to be's. You will do great.

I had my surgery may 11th of 07 and i am all ready down 60 lbs. I just stated going to a support group in my area and can't go anymore. Everybody in the group is over 50. I just feel weird talking about my problems in front of them I am so glad somebody started this.

Curtis: Wow congrats on your loss! I was banded May 31st and I am down around 42lbs. My local support group is also full of mostly 40 and 50 year olds, but I go anyway. I figure that they have some insight and experience about weightloss in general that can surely help me. Hey, I'll take all the help I can get. Good Luck All!
