Wow...Pre op cleaning of closet

Wow! I am a clothes horse! So I'm changing my closets over from summer to fall/winter (buffalo ny) and I took all my capris and folded them up... My surgery fingers crossed will be February 2014... My seamstress can resize pants 2 sizes. So I'm saving all my capris... I hope I won't be able to have them resized because I'll be 3 sizes down. A girl can dream!

This is the first time ever that I have thought next winter I'm going to have a new closet full of clothes!!! I do feel sad in a way that I won't have my old clothes. I've have a friend in them. They hide me. Does that make sense? Anyone else go through this?

Lol, it makes complete sense! I had a set of clothes that I relied on to make me look presentable and feel comfortable. But trust me, by the time you get to next winter, you will be glad to see the back of these old friends. I was sleeved at the end of April and I am 5 sizes down since then.... so think you can safely say you will get your wish not to have your capris resized ;-)

Good luck come the time for your surgery. In the meantime, it's great visualising how life will be post sleeve. For me, the reality is even better than anything I imagined I terms of my health and how I look. Hope it's the same for you!
