Looking for november buddies. I got my approval today. Im so excited!!! Nov 4th here I come!!!!

We'll here I go! First thread post for me. I go in the morning for an EGD. Begin my 2 week liquid diet on Nov 12 and go under the knife Nov 26. Going to be hard missing the holiday celebrations gathered around food. I just have to keep telling myself that this needs to be done so I can be around longer to enjoy more holidays to come with my kids.

I'm with you...my surgery is also on Nov. 26th and I'll be starting my pre op diet on Nov. 12th. I too thought about the holidays and what I thought I would be missing but then I thought about how grateful I am to have this opportunity to change my life and thank fi for a second chance. I know it's going to be hard but I know we will all get through it together!! Good luck! Our journey is only just beginning and I know it's going to be great.

Well this ends day 1 of the liquid diet. Thank you Jesus! In some ways it was harder than I thought and in others not as bad.

Thanks I appreciate your well wishes. I think today is the first day that it's starting to set in that surgery is Friday at 5:00am!!! I start the beginning of something wonderful . Thanks for all the support you have give me from the very start! I wish you the best on Monday you will do great!! We ALL will do great!!

My date is Nov 11th!! I'm on the detox diet. I even got a bit excited today when I added my ticker!!

All labs are great, the pre-op doc appointment is done. I'm just waiting on the visit with anesthesia doc.
