Im officially sleeved!

Well I'm sitting in my hospital room writing this with the grogginess of the pain meds but the biggest smile ever! I'm so happy my new journey has began ! Pain and nausea coming out of surgery was HELL! But I burped about 10 times and then continually punched my pain med button! Now that I'm controlling my pain its not so bad and I'm so excited for the rest of my life!!

I'm so sorry you guys are having trouble, I haven't had any trouble with my pills...and they sent me home with pills the first day! My incisions are fine too, the glue is starting to peel tho!

Hello everyone...to answer the pill questions I had no issue. I just broke them in half (scored already) and took them with a small sip of water a few minutes apart...I was sleeved on 16 Sep (monday) then on saturday the 21st I stopped my pain pills all together and just took alieve when I needed it. I would say the hardest thing since starting soft foods/puree's is remembering that I have half a stomach and cannot have hte portions I used to have. I wasted alot of food at first and now I am getting the hang of it. Also could not tolerate the sweet protein drinks after surgery and found an awesome one at Walmart called Core! its not sweet and its all natural. good luck fellow sleevers!
