Missed period 4 months out...

Obviously I realize that most of you are NOT medical professionals... I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced the same thing... Following my surgery which was on 4/25 I had an "extra" period in may and then my period came right on time around the first of every month.. Now here we are in September... I'm down about 40is lbs and my period is no where in sight. I took a pregnancy test and it came out negative. I have since scheduled an appointment with my obgyn and I have a follow up appointment with my surgeon in a few weeks. Anyone else experience missed period after being regular?

    It's a yay! I would have been happy either way but I would like to wait until at least a year out from surgery. I'm currently in nursing school so I would like to wait for that to be done too but when it happenes it happens. My dr did call me with the results from the rest of my tests and everything looks GREAT! I'm going to chalk it up to my body adjusting to all the wonderful weight loss!!

    My BFF got pregnant her last year in nursing school- she graduated in May and baby was born in July! I really don't know how she did it!

    Well just to update you ladies... My Aunt Flow decided to come to town today... Hopefully she shows up on time for her next visit! Lol

    Well at least she showed up. I had one day of bleeding last week and knew something didn't seem right, took a test today and I'm guessing it was implantation because I definitely got a BFP today!
