One thing I'm happy about is food I used to like such as seafood are still very appealing to me. I'm glad because I want some of my first real solid food to eat when I'm ready is fresh baked gulf oysters :)

Angie!!' date=' I'm not sure. I had read that other people lost more initially.... I realize the problem isn't the 15 lbs. it's comparing my weight loss to other people's. in retrospect, I am doing as well as I am supposed to do and need to not worry about how much other people loose initially.[/quote']

We are all so different. There are so many factors that impact our losses. And everyone counts their losses differently. As long as you are doing what you are supposed to than you are doing great. Trust and Celebrate the work you are doing!

I would like to know the same too. I made the mistake last night of having puréed fruit in my jello' date=' and regretted it all night long. I think that 6 oz is too much......lol[/quote']

I agree! 6 oz might be excessive. I had Tomato Soup for dinner and now I'm having stomach cramps. I've been able to handle that much until today. I have to eat much less and much slower. Every day I'm learning more about my pouch!

I too had mashed potatoes. Ate and savored each tiny bite. What heaven. I became"full" at a teaspoon and a half. I'm probably starting three/ four days earlier than the scheduled plan, but really I am only introducing a few things to satiate my taste buds. Actually almost getting 600 calories in now nine days out. Doc visit tomorrow

I'm 9 days out too, but really struggling to get in some calories. I've reached 400 once, most days it's 100-250. Totally jealous of your 600 : )

Pre-op, I was doing a champ at getting in Protein. Now, I can barely finish 1/2 a Protein shake a day. Hopefully I can make some serious progress in the next few days. I've gotten in maybe 1200 calories over the last 9 days. That can't be healthy in the long run.

I wish I could get in 600 cal!! I'm lucky to get about 400 also. I'm doing well with Protein shakes, I can take almost 50g a day, but calories is another thing!

HumorMe00.... You will get there. Progress takes time.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
