I am down a total of 37 lbs. (including preop diet) my pants are starting to get really lose especially in the legs but in my waist I can't go down a size yet. I am walking around looking like I have a load of crap in my pants. I am also still in a 3 week stall, so it's been a week. I am at 4 weeks post op today. So frustrated makes me second guess what the hell I did to myself. Thanks for letting me vent, I am just ready to drop a full size and get this show on the road...

Patients girl......when you have a lot to lose it takes longer for you to go down in sizes...As you near your goal you will drop sizes quickly..

I have the same problem as you. I have skinny legs and a spare tire around my middle...Nothing looks good on me right now...

I have started to drop sizes though but clothes are too big for me around my butt, legs, shoulders and top..But snug in the waist...grrrrrrrrr

It will happen though I know it will...You did not make a mistake about the surgery..You just have little patients....

Relax and enjoy the journey....Stalls happen and will through out your journey. Your body needs to make adjustments and that is why we stall...It is a good thing ( Martha Stewart )

really focus on what you're eating / drinking. When I hit times like this I circle back to grilled chicken and Water. Say away from the extra sugar, and just think Protein and water. :) Also watch portion size (should only be about 1/2 cup). You'll get there just we all hit those bad days. :)

Thank God for belts! Yes, I've walked around with a load in my pants before. in fact, my butt is so small that I hafta to wear junior jeans cuz all the ladies jeans make it look like that.

I wouldn't buy anything new for a while yet tho. It gets really expensive to continue buying new clothes every 15 lbs. Go to the Goodwill and get some new jeans/pants. They're under $8 and some of them are really cute!

Congrats on the loss! If having your pants too baggy is your only proble, I say you're doing pretty good!

Don't get frustrated. I was in a stall from 2-10 weeks post-op. The scale finally moved again this week.

I have the opposite problem...I dropped 3 sizes but now I'm inbetween 2 sizes (and have been for about a week or so). Today I have on baggy pants that I had to use a belt (to camoflauge how baggy they are) and roll and tuck the waist. Let's just say...not at all sexy if my shirt flies up. Which of course will happen because I ride public transit to work and if I really don't want something to happen, it will.

I just gave 3 large trashbags of clothes to my family and donation. I have another bag I packed up 2 nights ago. All my clothes I just wanted to lose into are now too big. I thought I would enjoy this part, but not so much when it means you have to spend even MORE money just to look presentable.

But, again, I'm in an inbetween size so I can't even go grab a few cheap things until I lose more inches/weight. I've decided I will continue to roll and tuck what clothes I do have left and make the most of it.

I'm really looking forward to cooler days so I can at least hide under a jacket. Here's to hoping we both lose into the next size or 2 down.

Don't expect your body shape to be any specific way.

All my life I've carried my extra weight in my butt and thighs, now 100 lbs. lighter I wear a size 12 pant, but a 14 - 16 top. I just don't get it. Hopefully things will even out as I get closer to goal.

Congratulations on your sleeve, weight loss, and future weight loss. This is going to be a terrific year!

I am in between sizes, too.....I was wearing a 22, now they are so big, some fall down (so those are in the Goodwill pile), but most don't have belt loops (sometimes I hate women's pants LOL)...............and the size 20 is way too tight....I may have to pull out a sewing machine and make the waist smaller on my 22's....

The first two weeks my weight loss was steady (with a 5 day plateau)......but this last week it has been absolutely stagnant.....I have a 9/9 appointment with the surgeon....and I don't want to show up with only a 15 pound loss in a month....received a comment at my last appointment that my weight loss should have been more....frustrating.

Good luck!

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
