Me!! I don't think I would have done this in my twenties. Being in my 30's, I still have a whole life ahead of me to enjoy the new me :)

I do too. I just turned 30 on Oct 27 and I wasn't ready emotionally for many reasons... but anyway, I decided to look at it as a whole new life, and now I'm ok with it.

Look at what we've escaped from: The angst of pre-teens, the drama of the teens, and the worst of them all, I think, being an early 20-something because they are fearless yet still immature (literally until 26).

Yes, this is a good time to start my fresh beginning.

30. We can still say, "I'm only 30." Nothing tired about that, nothing immature about that.

I have dieted off and on most of my adult life!! And if anyone would ask me if they should do it I would say go with your heart!! Do what you feel is right even if others don't!! But I agree I was just a few months from turning 30, but I say that it was a great time, I was done having kids, didn't have to worry about the weight gain there. But anyway long story short lol YES IT IS!! :)
