Whaddya mean no sweets?

Oh noooooooo!

This Monday I had my first appointment with the surgeon I'm going to go with, and really? No pastries ever again? No cake? No ice cream? Not even a little bit? What am I gonna eat on my birthday? What am I gonna eat when I'm depressed? What about my mom's homemade Cookies? :(

HI Marfar :I totally agree with you. Food is definitely one of the joys in life but I have learned portion control and how to eat properly. The sleeve works to satiate and on the holidays, I will allow myself a small portion of pasta and a very small portion of desert. I think the trick is not to deprive yourself and feel depressed. The worst part of all of this was pre and post op liquid diet!!!
