Sad clown

Recommended Posts

Today I'm just sad and overwhelmed and frustrated.

I was in a stall for almost a month, then it broke... By gaining. Ugh.

My fiancé's brother and wife are being turds about coming to the bachelor day/bridal shower bachelorette party. I could care less if she comes. I have no attachment or connection with her. But I'm really bummed his brother is saying he can't come. We are rescheduling his golf trip so his brother can be there and there is no guarantee he will even make it.

I'm so crazy busy at work that I barely have time to pee.

My boss is being a jerk.

And my fibro is making my back and hips hurt so walking and sitting is painful.

:-( sad clown today. I just want to scream then cry.

I hope it gets better for you! Don't forget... breathe in, breathe out, repeat. This too shall pass...

This sounds like one of those days where, in the past, we would have dulled those feelings with food. Now we can't and it's much more difficult tackling life's issues. Hang tough. It gets easier. Give yourself permission to feel badly without food. You'll learn new coping mechanisms very quickly....ways that are much healthier and more fruitful. Good luck.

Some days it seems like nothing can go right....been there many times, so I understand. But I just looked at your weight ticker so I'm thinking a trip to the bathroom mirror (MAKE TIME) to look at your new figure should put a smile on your face!

Remember even skinny people gain a bit of weight & then they work hard at getting it off, so don't worry, it will come off. Also remember the more Water your drink, the more your body will shrink! :P

Have a peaceful & blessed day! Smile! :D It'll make people wonder what you're up to! Hehe!

So sorry you're having a bad day. Hope things end today on a brighter note. Also, maybe go for a walk (if the pain is not too bad). That may help a bit. I don't know much about fibro so disregard my advice to walk if things are just too painful.

Hugs to you!!

Thank you guys. I'm just so disgusted that his wife of two months expects him to blow off his brothers party so she can do something she planned with her kids. Not their kids. Not his kids. Her kids. And it isn't even something that really involves him.

Loosen the leash woman and let him have a day with his brother.

Ugh.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
